1. While extensions give you long, voluminous hair in no time, their natural origin means they need special care.
  Here's our advice on how to keep your hair looking its best.
  
  I- Before installing extensions
  
  The day before, wash your hair so that it's clean. On the day of application, brush your hair, but without oil, moisturizer or styling gel. If your hair is colored, color it a few days before the application. Be careful to choose an ammonia-free product, so as not to dry out your hair.
  
  II- During installation
  Don't place your strands less than 2cm from the root, otherwise your hair will become too heavy. Avoid the temples and hair too close to the face or top of the head.
  
  III- After installation
  Don't keep your extensions longer than 6 months, otherwise they will tangle.
  
  a) Washing
  Detangle with your fingers and brush your hair before washing. Wash your hair only 1 to 3 times a week. Don't use hot water, but lukewarm or cold water. Wash from ends to ends, without putting too much pressure on the fixing points, to avoid tangling.
  
  b) Drying
  Preferably dry your hair naturally, but you can use a hairdryer if you keep it at a distance of about 10-15 cm. Don't blow-dry your hair too hot, but rather lukewarm. Don't rub your hair with the towel to dry it, but wipe it lengthwise, from the ends to the ties.
  
  c) Styling
  Before styling, detangle your hair with your fingers. Then use a large comb to detangle from the middle of the hair. Finish with a brush specially designed for extensions. Don't pull too hard on the hair to detangle it, as this can cause it to pull out.
  
  d) At night
  Before going to bed, brush your hair from the middle down and detangle it with your fingers. You can also tie or braid your hair.
  
  IV- Which products should I use?
  It's best to use products specially designed for extensions. Special shampoos and care products are available. What's more, choose a ceramic brush specially designed for extensions.
